David Foss Obituary

David J. Foss, 56, of Westborough, died on Thursday, October 16, 2008 at the UMass Memorial Healthcare- University Campus in Worcester.

Born in Worcester, he is the son of Donald R. and Shirley M. (Adams) Foss of Westborough. He was educated in Westborough schools and was a 1970 graduate of Westborough High School.

In his earlier years he was involved with Westborough Little League.

David was a member of the Evangelical Congregational Church, appraised coins and enjoyed antiques and cats.

In addition to his parents he is survived by one daughter, Melissa E. Foss of Shrewsbury; one brother, Brian E. Foss of Miami; two sisters, Audrey C. Williamson and her husband, Richard, of Amsterdam, Netherlands and Elaine F. McCrabb and her husband, David, of Amisville, VA and two nieces, Shannon and Robin Williamson.

A private graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21, in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Westborough. Burial will follow. There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Westborough Firefighters and Ambulance Gift Fund, 42 Milk St., Westborough, MA 01581.
