Regina Greenberg Obituary

Regina Zimmerman Greenberg, 91, of Westborough, formerly of Rutherford, NJ and Jamesburg, NJ, died on Oct. 20th. She was the wife of the late Richard Zimmerman who passed away in 1975. She was also the widow of Henry Greenberg who died in 2001.

Regina was born in Brooklyn, NY to David and Tessie (Bachrach) Blickstein. She lived in NJ all her life until moving to The Willows in Westborough 5 years ago. Regina was predeceased by her sister Goldie Lipton. She is survived by 2 daughters: Cynthia Turncliff of Worcester and Phyllis Powell and her husband Bill of Westborough, her sister, Helen Rubin of New Jersey, and 5 grandchildren: Amy Chernack and her husband Douglas, Kelly Solomon and her husband Jared, Debbie Crum, Ryan Turncliff and his wife Amy, Nicole Sterrs and her husband Adam; and 3 adored great grandchildren.

Regina's happiest times were those spent with her family and watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow. She loved animals and will be missed by her beloved cat, Cookie. A funeral and burial will be held today in New Jersey. Expressions of sympathy may be donated to The Humane Society of the United States, Dept. GAIT 04, 2100 L St., NW, Washington, DC 20037 or to a charity of your choice.

Perlman funeral home is directing funeral arrangements.
