Rose Riel Obituary

Rose E. Riel, 83, passed away October 18, 2008.

She is survived by two brothers, William J. Nolan Jr., Lloyd P. Nolan both of North Grafton; two sisters, Gertrude Setterlund of Worcester, Catherine Atchue of Anaheim, CA and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, William J. Nolan Sr. and Gertrude (Dumore) Nolan, and two sisters, Ellen Murphy and Lena Rivers. Mrs. Riel was born April 22, 1925 in North Grafton, raised there attended Grafton Schools before moving to Worcester in 1956. Rose was a longtime employee of The Dodge Park Rest Home living there while she worked until 1989 when she then became a resident in their care until her passing there Saturday. Mrs. Riel enjoyed bingo and many types of music.

Funeral services for Rose will be private at the convenience of her family. She will be laid to rest with her parents in Pine Grove Cemetery in North Grafton. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are in the care of The Roney Funeral Home North Chapel, 152 Worcester St., North Grafton. A condolence book is available at:
