Dear Dick,
I was so sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. I always got such a kick out of him. He was so good to my father when he was sick and always stopped by to see if he was alright and bring him fish that you caught, or bread for the birds. He was a great guy.

The Stark Family,
We are all going to miss your father and grandfather. He was like an extended member of our family. Our kids only knew him as "Grandpa Joe." Things will definitely be different on Mason St. We are sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace!

Dick, Diane and boys,

It was with great sadness that we read about Joe this morning. My first reaction was how much Andrew looks likes his grandfather. Our thoughts of Joe always center around the gardens. We could hear a tractor coming up the road and would wonder, is it Dick or Joe, and most the time it was Joe ready to tell us what needed to be done in the garden!! How fortunate both Rita and Joe were to have you all as family, to care for them and to love them unconditionally. I hope heaven is ready for the shakeup when Joe sees Rita again. Our sincerest condolences to all of you.
