Madeline Pella Obituary

Madeline M. (Buchyn) Pella, 89, of Worcester died peacefully Wednesday October 22, 2008 in St. Vincent Hospital. Her husband J. Roy Pella died in 1978. Madeline is survived by a son, Roy Pella and his wife Robin of Ocala Florida; a brother, George R. Buchyn of Florida; a former daughter in law, Janis Pella; and a step brother, Raymond of Florida. Madeline is also survived by three grandsons, and twelve great grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.

Madeline was born in Worcester daughter of Michael and Magdalina (Paplaski) Buchyn and lived here all her life. She was a graduate of Commerce High School and the Ward Business School. Madeline worked at the Belmont Home as the lead office clerk for many years before she retired. She was a former member of St. Margaret Mary Church, loved to read, and do crossword puzzles. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Madeline's funeral will be held Saturday October 25, at 10:30 AM in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. A calling hour will be held from 9 AM to 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Interment will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
