Pete, Linda, Ruth, Debbie and families, we are thinking of you all now that Bella's long life has come to an end. Fortunately, you will have many happy memories to treasure. We certainly have, extending back at intervals over some 25 years: her trip with you, Pete, to visit us in Britain when our families first became joined, and her hospitality every time we visited Linda, Stephen, Wes and Annalisa in West Brookfield and Worcester - poolside days and meals out - making us feel very much part of the larger Rietveld family. Her New England doll doorstop is in constant us in our home. In particular, we'll remember her as the ever-present Mom and Grammy.
Love,
Maureen (Sullivan) Niford

So sorry to hear of your loss. We loved being neighbors with her for so many years when I lived with my parents on Duncan St. She will be sadly missed , but always in our heart & memories.

We all loved Bella very much at Summit ElderCare Worcester. She always warmed the hearts of all of us social workers when she would sit in our office all afternoon. It was hard to see her go when she transferred to Charlton, but we always (and still do) keep her picture in our office with her big fluffy winter hat that she so cherished. She will be missed very much. Our sincerest sympathies go out to her family.
