Frances Adamonis Obituary

Frances (O'Connor) Adamonis passed away on October 25, 2008 after an illness. Her husband, Joseph Adamonis passed away in 1983.

Frances leaves her brother, James O'Connor and his wife Helen of Worcester and her sister, Gertrude Kneeland of Newton. Her brother, John O'Connor and sister, Elizabeth O'Connor predeceased her. Fran also leaves her nephews, John Kneeland and James O'Connor and nieces, Kathy Kneeland and Susan O'Connor Martins.

Fran was born in Grafton on October 12, 1919, the daughter of the late Michael and Catherine (Murrihy) O'Connor. She grew up in Grafton and worked in Worcester as an administrative assistant for many years at U.S. Steel. Fran will be remembered for her devotion to her family and many close friends.

Funeral & Calling Hours

The funeral will be held Tuesday, October 28th from The Roney Funeral Home - North Chapel, 152 Worcester Street, North Grafton followed by the celebration of her funeral mass at 11 am in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 17 Waterville St. North Grafton. She will then be laid to rest with her husband at St. John's Cemetery in Worcester. All are invited to a calling hour on Tuesday, October 28th from 9:30-10:30 am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Fran's name to St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church - Bereavement Committee, 17 Waterville St. North Grafton MA 01536. Fran,

Your thoughtfulness, generosity, and sparkling sense of humor brought such joy to your friendships. I wish I could see you one more time to thank you in person for all you have given me over the years and to hear a funny old story or hear you tease my parents.

My deepest sympathy to the family, Frances was a wonderful woman.We had so many nice talks when I would care for her at ST Camillus health center. She was so sweet and kind and she made me laugh.I am going to miss her and the morning talks while I cared for her.
