Sincere condolences to my old friend Barbara and her sister Rose on the loss of their sister, Doris. I remember all 3 sisters harmonizing to "Going To The Chapel" in the family home in Auburn. I remember "Dad" Harvey and "cloudy weather legs." I remember working at Gino's with Barbara. I remember a trip to Montreal taken with Barbara, Rose and her friend Angela when we were teenagers! And I remember Rose's wedding. And meeting Barbara's daughter as a toddler.

My heartfelt sympathy to the whole family on your loss.

Tracy & Bobby,
I'm so sorry to learn that you've lost your Mom - Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. I don't mean to sound cruel or mean, but try not to spend too much time mourning her loss, but instead take time remembering the wonderful, happy memories of time spent with her. If there's anything at all that I can do for you , please, please call me - you both know that I'm always here for you, 24/7.
I send much love to you and your families.

On a warm, sunny October day all was fine...going my way
The sun was out and the bird were singing...Then the sun went down and the phone it started ringing....they said they were TRYING to get a hold of me...but I was right here...only the phone wasn't right in my ear-so I did not hear that FIRST ring...
I said goodbye to some company and then it rang again...
'Tracee, she said...We have been trying to reach you...your mom is gone...she passed, she said.. just minutes before"...as I fell to the floor!
The screams that came from me were loud and skin curling....all of a sudden my little world was SWIRLING...Like a big AUTUNM storm. out of control...MY mom just died suddenely in her nursing home...NO warning, no signs of death....Just ate her dinner, talked for a bit...then took her last breath....ALL DAY long, I was saddened...but I had no idea why....I was drawn to the town were my mom grew up...drove around there...trying NOT to cry...WHAT the heck is WRONG with me I kept asking myself....why am I SO sad...What the HELL?
I knew I had to get home...I felt a mess...I had planned to go and see her...But I digress...I got one too many calls from my doctor and the time passed me...I needed to get my son from school..and get there fast!
When I returned, I forgot his friend was coming to play...again not the time to govisit with her..I'd have to wait until he went away.
Right after the boy and his dad left for home is when the NURSE got me on the phone....
I felt this aching pain in every single bone...my room mate awoke to my cries..hadning me some tissues for the now BLOODSHOT, watery eyes!

Once I could breath again, even if just for a minute...I knew I had to inform the family..Of course they didn't get it...Neither did I...but it didn't change what came next...going up there to see her...or actually what was left.
There lay a shell of a woman who IS my mother...her eyes were shut, her skin milky in color...with the most peaceful look on her face that 1 MILLION "i'm sorries" could never erase.
"You can rest now mom and not feel any more pain...you can see all your loved ones and they will call out your name...With happiness and joy, with enormous amounts of glee....They will welcome you into their wolrd and take you to places onlyyou and they can see....You are there now to watch over us...you have been set free.
YOu are my ANGEL now..my momma Dee~~!!~~

Love always and forever...

Tracee Marie....~~~~~
