Rosemary Powers Obituary

Rosemary Agnes (Vincent) Powers, 61, died, Tuesday, October 14, in the Hospice House in Bend, Oregon after an illness.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Albert Powers of Worcester; three daughters, Rosemarie wife of James Drake of Worcester, Susan Wiechert of Oregon, Wendy wife of Sam Ricci of Florida; two sons, Philip Cormier of Oregon, Duane Vincent and his wife Lynn of Worcester; one sister, Linda wife of William Stevens of Sutton; three brothers, Henry Vincent and his wife Ellen of Webster, Thomas Vincent and his wife Minnae of Worcester, David Vincent of Worcester; 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Rosemary was born in Worcester, the daughter of Mary Agnes (Lajeunesse) Mellen and the late Henry L. Vincent and lived in the Worcester area most of her life. She was a Graduate of Commerce High School and held an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Quinsigamond Community College, was a Certified CNA and was working on a Bachelors Degree at Worcester State College before moving to Oregon. She loved animals, was an avid reader and loved to crochet & knit for her family.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, November 1,2008 at 11:00 AM at the Northboro Church of Christ, 456 W. Main St., Northboro, MA. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
