Estelle Connor Obituary
She was born October 26, 1911 in Krakow, Poland. She lived in Worcester most of her life.
She was the wife of Joseph J. Connor, who died in 1992. She leaves two daughters, Barbara A. Dowgielewicz wife of Henry Dowgielewicz of Monroe, Va. and Estelle E. Blake widow of Col. John C. Blake with whom she resided in Sagamore Beach; an adopted daughter, Carol Barber of Sagamore Beach; a sister, Regina Szafarowicz of Worcester; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral Mass will be Thursday, Oct. 30 at 11 a.m. in St. Stephen's Church, 357 Grafton St., Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 326, Plymouth, MA 02360.
The Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester is directing arrangements.
