Ernest Jolin Obituary

Ernest M. Jolin, Sr., age 89, of 41 Hilltop St., died Monday, Oct. 27, 2008, at the Knollwood Nursing Center, West Boylston. He was the husband of the late Irene (Dube) Jolin.

He leaves a son, Ernest M. Jolin, Jr. of Oakham and three daughters, Darlene Pope of Mashpee, Shirley Hubert of FL and Jo-Ann Judkins of N. Grafton; a brother, N. Lee Jolin of Holland, MA; and 17 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. He was predecesed by a daughter, Eleanor Wain of FL; two brothers, Val Jolin, of CT, and Noel Jolin of Worcester and a sister, Alice Delorme of NJ.

He was born in Waterloo, Canada, son of Philip and May (Thibodeau) Jolin and lived in N. Grafton most of his life. He was a US Army WWII veteran. He was a self employed machinist for many years.

There are no calling hours, services and burial will be at the family's convenience.

Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Assoc. of Worcester County, 128 Providence St., Worcester, MA 01604.

Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, MA is directing arrangements.

Uncle Ernie,

I will always remember visiting you in the machine shop on Orient St. and the smell of Dentene Gum... :)

You are now with my Memere, Pepere, Auntie Irene, Uncle Val, Auntie Alice, and my dad Noel and my mom, etc... carry my love with you to them too.
