Erica,
We send our deepest condolences for your loss. The few times we got to spend with you and Scotty were some of the funniest nights I have experienced. His sense of humor and kindness will be greatly missed, by all that were blessed to know him. Stay strong.

Erica, I am deeply sadened by your terribly loss. I got to experience your joy eight years ago and know how happy you were. Some people never find that happiness, so I hope that the memories you and Scott shared over the too short years together give you some consolation. Know that there are many people close and far that share your grief and are sending their love to you.
Love, Cheryl Donaldson-Davis

My condolences go to Erica and all of Scott's family. Scott, during times when it's so easy to be pessimistic, you were always positive and made every person's life you touched a better one. You're loved more than you know and will be sorely missed. Until the afterlife, my friend...

I am so sorry. My thoughts and prayers go out to those affected by this terrible loss. I did not have the pleasure of knowing Scott but I did hear about his passing from a friend who told me wonderful things about him. I know his brother Shawn. I might have met Scott once in passing when I was in high school. I am not sure. If my memory is correct then I remember a very friendly and happy guy who seemed like he was living life to the fullest. Can it get any better than that?

My heartfelt condolences to Erica and all of Scott's family and friends. I went to high school with Scott, and spent more than a few nights hanging out with him and our group of friends in those years and the years after college. I probably have never laughed harder in my life than those precious times, and I'll never forget them. He was a great guy and someone I always enjoyed reconnecting with when he was back here visiting from Chicago. I feel lucky to have known him, and his loss saddens me deeply. Scott, we'll miss you forever.

“When you part from your friend, you grieve not;
For that which you love most in him may be clearer in his absence, as the mountain to the climber is clearer from the plain”.

Erica, Donna, Rick, Shawn, and family,
So sorry to hear this morning of Scott’s passing. We lost touch over the years after high school, but often over the last 20 years I have thought of playing football in the back yard, sledding in the winter, cub scouts, and my first concert ever….Ozzy at the Centrum! (I kind of try to block that one out, but the rest were good)
I was surprised to read that Scott was a Bears fan. I recall watching Super Bowl XX at the Meadow road house. Scott was so excited that the Pats had made it to the big game, and he was devastated by their crushing defeat by the Bears!… he must have truly loved Chicago and everything that was there for him.
My thoughts are with all of you now as we look back from the plain.

I knew Scotty in Chicago - first as a friend of Erica's - then as her husband. He was such a fun, warm-hearted man who will be truly missed even by those who haven't seen him in awhile. We all loved him dearly and I'm terribly sorry for this horrible loss. He left us too soon.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
