Margaret Ruth Therrien

Margaret Ruth (Beauregard) Therrien, 83, died Tues. Oct. 28, at Beaumont Nursing Center of Northbridge. She lived at the Crown and Eagle Apts. in Uxbridge for the past 18 years. Her husband Camille J. Therrien died on Sept. 30, 1979.

She is survived by four children, Kenneth P. Therrien of Millville, Mona Poulin of Belfast, ME, Robin Marshall of Woonsocket, R.I and Brian Therrien of Mendon; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; a brother, Robert Beauregard of Oklahoma; a sister, Shirley Dwight of Uxbridge; several nephews and nieces; and her close friend of 60 years, Beatrice Reading of Uxbridge. She is predeceased by her son, Edmund "Butch" Therrien, infant daughter, Maureen Therrien, brother, Paul Beauregard and sister, Elizabeth "Betty" McDonald.

Born on Sept. 8, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Augustus and Noela (Malo) Therrien and has lived in Uxbridge all of her life. Mrs. Therrien worked for many years at the Bernat Mill in Uxbridge, drove a school bus for the town of Northbridge and retired from Taniner Tech in Northbridge. She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Linwood and enjoyed knitting, reading and especially spending time with her family and friends.

Her graveside service will be held on Wed. Nov. 5, at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Cemetery, Granite St., Uxbridge. There will be no calling hours.
