Julie Park Obituary

Julie "Muffy" Jeppson Park, daughter of John Jeppson, died at her home in Brookfield, on Thurs., October 23rd.

Muffy grew up in Cambridge, Worcester and Brookfield, Massachusetts and attended Shady Hill School, in Cambridge, The Ethel Walker School in Simsbury, CT and Bennington College in Bennington, Vt. She also did post-graduate studies at The Corcoran School of Art in Washington, DC. Muffy was a White House photographer under four Presidents, a member of the Board of Directors of The Actor's Studio in New York and the Corcoran Gallery in Washington, DC and a patron of the Dance Theatre of Harlem as well as many other charities throughout her life.

Muffy is survived by her loving husband, Halford Park; her four children, Craig, Carder, Antonia and Julie Stout; her stepdaughter, Heather Park; and three grandchildren.

Services to celebrate her life will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 73 Lancaster St., Worcester, Ma on Saturday, November 1 at 12:00 p.m. The family asks that in lieu of sending flowers to please donate to one of the following charities in her memory: Hole in the Wall Gang, The Art of Elysium or The ASPCA. Condolences to Muffy's family, so sorry to hear of her passing. I also haven't seen her for many years, but spoke with her on the phone a few months ago. I have strong memories of her vibrant, freewheeling and generous spirit.

I haven't seen Muffy for nearly 40 years,but she was by far the most vibrant ,fun-loving friend when we were neighbors in DC-Craig and Carder-it was a long time ago!
