Alice Bourque Obituary

Alice Diana (Goulet) Bourque, 94, formerly of W. Hartford Ave., died Wed., Oct. 29, at St. Camillus Health Care Center, where she was a resident for the past 4 years. Her husband of 52 years, Arthur J. Bourque died on April 14, 1984.

She is survived by her daughter, Constance and her husband, Herman Lavallee of N. Uxbridge; 3 grandsons, Mark Lavallee of Douglas, Richard Lavallee and Steven Lavallee both of N. Uxbridge; two great grandchildren, Jacquelyn and Matthew Lavallee; brother Norman Goulet of Woonsocket, R.I.; sister Rita Lafleur of Wrentham and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her brother, Emile Goulet.

Born in Woonsocket, R.I. on April 18, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Diana (Dulac) Goulet and lived at the Crown and Eagle Apts. in Uxbridge for 20 years. She worked for several years helping family and friends as a home health aide and as a stitcher at the former Kartagner Hat Shop in Grafton.

She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Linwood and enjoyed playing cribbage, cross word puzzles, knitting, crocheting and playing bingo.

Her funeral will be held from Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd., Uxbridge, MA on Sat., Nov. 1 at 10 a.m. in the Church of the Good Shepherd, 121 Linwood St., Linwood. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Sat., Nov. 1 from 8 to 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Alice's memory may be made to St. Camillus Health Care Center, 447 Hill St., Whitinsville, MA 01588.

Connie,
I don't get the paper but, just happen to see that you lost your Mom.I'm sorry for you
r loss.I don't remember where you moved to.So i figure i would leave you something here.
I saw the paper to late to go.I would of went.
If you can't remember me .We worked together at Beaumont in house keeping Dept.I used to be a Guertin...
