Dale Edwards Obituary

Dale "Geoffrey" Edwards, 54, of Millbury, MA and formerly of East Woodstock, CT, passed away on October 22, 2008. Geoffrey was born December 12, 1954 in Putnam, son of Francis "Howard" and Pauline Edwards of East Woodstock and Alma Rose of Ridgefield Park, NJ. Geoffrey married Jeri McIntosh in Virginia in 1986. Geoffrey worked in the computer field most of his life. He grew up in East Woodstock and graduated from Woodstock Academy. He had made his home in Virginia and California before moving to Millbury several years ago.

Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by his paternal grandmother, Evelyn Edwards of East Woodstock; three brothers Walter Edwards and his companion Holly of Putnam; Dennis Edwards of CT; Wayne Edwards and his companion Denise of Putnam; a sister Sherry Engh and her husband Peter of East Woodstock; Step-brothers; Step-sister; half-sister, half-brother, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held November 22, 2008 (Saturday) at 11:00 AM at the East Woodstock Congregational Church, 220 Woodstock Road, East Woodstock, Ct. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association. To share a memory "Light a Candle" at
