Theresa Thibeault Obituary

Theresa A. (Garry) Thibeault, 80, died Wednesday, October 29, 2008, at the home of her daughter in Putnam, CT. She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Bernard A. "Ben" Thibeault, who died in 1999. She is survived by two children, Lisa M. Gardner and her husband James of Putnam, CT, with whom she lived, and Paul B. Thibeault of Leicester; three grandchildren, Michael, Chantelle, and James; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a son, Bernard Thibeault who died in 1958. She was born in North Oxford, the daughter of the late Adelard and Albina (Morin) Garry, and lived most of her life in Oxford before moving to Putnam, CT, two years ago.

Mrs. Thibeault was a bookkeeper at the Ben Thibeault Construction Company for many years, retiring in 1999. She was a member of St. Roch's Church in Oxford. Mrs. Thibeault was a fan of the Gaither's gospel music, enjoyed dining out, and loved quilting.

A funeral will be held on Monday, November 3, 2008, from Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Roch's Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at St. Roch's Cemetery, Oxford. Calling hours are Sunday, November 2, 2008, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
