Lucille Christiansen Obituary

Lucille E. (Beaudoin) Christiansen, 77, of Blackstone Street, passed away Sat., Nov. 1, 2008 at home. She was the wife of Bruce Christiansen.

Mrs. Christiansen was a lifelong resident of Uxbridge and had worked at the former Pelland's Cleaners and the Village Cleaners in North Uxbridge for many years. She enjoyed camping and was a graduate of Uxbridge High School.

In addition to her husband of 54 years, she is survived by a son, Myron B. and his wife Debra J. Christiansen, Jr. of Northbridge; a daughter Karen J. and her husband John T. Salemi of Uxbridge; 2 brothers, Leo Beaudoin and Wilfred Beaudoin both of North Uxbridge; and a granddaughter, Megan E. Salemi and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Helen Dalbec and a brother, Henry Beaudoin.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be held Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008 at 10 AM in Good Shepherd Church, 121 Linwood Street, Linwood. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Uxbridge.

Visiting hours will Tues. from 8:30 – 9:30 AM in the BUMA FUNERAL HOME, 101 N. Main St., Rte. 122, Uxbridge, prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the VNA Care Hospice, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, MA 01608 or to the charity of one's choice.
