Sandy Cunningham Obituary

Sandy (Berthiaume) Cunningham, 65, died October 30, 2008 at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle of complications from diabetes, with her family at her side.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Dick Cunningham of Augusta, MT; a son, Michael Salmon, Jr. husband of Christine Salmon of Uxbridge, MA; a daughter, Kelly Salmon, wife of Gilbert Carvalho of Putnam, CT; and a grandson, Luke Beauchemin, also of Putnam, CT.

She was born in Worcester, MA the daughter of Arthur and Connie Berthiaume. In addition to her husband and children, she also leaves her mother, two sisters Candy Geshelin of Spencer, MA and Michelle Wheelock of Northborough, MA and one brother, Bill Berthiaume, of Santa Rosa, CA.

Sandy lived most of her life in Northbridge, MA where she worked as a hairdresser for Beaumont Nursing Home of Northbridge for over 30 years. She and her husband moved to Augusta, MT three years ago for retirement.

A warm and loving woman, Sandy was a friend to many. Her sense of humor, intact to the end, will be missed by those who knew her. She always enjoyed a good joke.
