Chris, Dave, and families,
We loved both of your parents very much. They were very special people. Janice and I had some great times together with them and we have very fond memories, especially serving with them in the Auburn Lions Club.
As you know Chris, your father and I could come out with some off-color jokes, but what we enjoyed even more was you scolding us for telling them. We also swapped some good war stories about work, the town, politics, etc. I also enjoyed talking to your dad about the many books we read.
The last few years of your dad’s life, the old Lions Club group was getting together for dinners, and many times while I was pushing your father’s wheelchair, people would ask if we were brothers. We’d both smile and look with respect into each other’s eyes. Your father was my best friend and like my brother.

David, Chrissy & Families,
I was saddened to learn of the loss of your Dad. He was such a good man, and a great friend. We had many fun times with him & your Mom playing cards and I will always remember him as the guy who could tell a joke better than anyone around. I know his greatest joy in life was his family and you were truly blessed to have such a loving father. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Love to you both,
Mike Blouin
