Laurel Parsons Obituary

Mrs. Laurel M. (Cleveland) Parsons, age 90, of Peabody, died Saturday in a local nursing facility following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of Frank Parsons, with whom she shared over 67 years of marriage.

Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Laurel (Edwina) Cleveland and Henry W. Ellis. She was raised in Lynn and previously resided in Lynnfield, Cape Cod, Worcester, and most recently in Peabody.

Prior to her retirement, she worked as an Inspector for GE in Lynn.

She enjoyed the theater and also loved dancing and singing.

In addition to her husband, she leaves her daughter, Dawn Parsons Spear and her husband Bradford of Amesbury. She was the Grandmother of Bradford A. Parsons of Grafton and Erin E. Toohil of Sutton. She was the Great-Grandmother of James and Shannon Toohil.

Family & Friends are kindly invited to attend a Memorial Service in the Brooksby Village Chapel 300 Brooksby Village Drive PEABODY on Tuesday at 1:00PM. Gifts in Laurel's name may be sent to the MSPCA 350 South Huntington Ave. Boston, MA 02130. Arrangements by the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home of Lynn.
