Bernard Hershkowitz Obituary

Bernard Hershkowitz, 87, of 39 Beechmont St., died on Thursday, November 20th in Jewish Healthcare Center.

He leaves his wife of 56 years, Ethel (Halperin) Hershkowitz; two sons, Ralph Hershkowitz and his wife Lauren of Spring Valley, NY and William Hershkowitz and his wife Helen of Brooklyn, NY; a daughter, Deborah wife of Paul Hughes of Florida; a sister, Dorothy Swartz of Worcester; eleven grandchildren and one great-grand son.

He was born in Worcester and was the son of Harry and Mollie (Wachtel) Hershkowitz and was a lifelong resident.

He was employed as a machine designer for Wyman and Gordon Co., for many years and retired 25 years ago.

He was a member of Shaarai Torah Synagogue West.

Funeral services were held YESTERDAY, THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 20th in Perlman Funeral Home, 1026 Main St. Burial was in Holy Society Cemetery in Leicester.

Memorial Observance will be held at the residence of Ralph and Lauren Hershkowitz at 4 Wayne Rd., Spring Valley, NY.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
