Fred Niles Obituary

Fred R. Niles, of Tinker Hill Rd., Auburn, died Nov. 19, 2008 at the Rose Monahan Hospice in Worcester.

He was born in St. Albans, Vermont. Fred was employed by Massachusetts Electric Co. for 38 years as a Stationary Fireman.

He attended schools in St. Albans, Vermont, and he served in the army during WWII.

His family includes a wife of 62 years, Barbara (Huban) Niles, 2 daughters, Susan Fournier of Hillsboro, NH and Gayle Niles of Auburn. He was predeceased by a son, Donald and a daughter, Elizabeth Gervais.

A great source of joy for Fred was his dog, Willie.

Service for Fred will be in the Spring at the Hope Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the V.N.A. Rose Monahan Hospice.
