Phyllis Dolan Obituary

Phyllis A. (Donahue) "Babe" Dolan, 73, died unexpectedly Thursday, November 27, 2008, in St. Vincent Hospital.

Phyllis is survived by her spouse, Donna Plouffe. They met 50 years ago and were married in 1996. Also many nephews and nieces among them, Frank Plouffe of Spencer, and Barbara Carbonneau of Worcester, three grandchildren; Frank, Matthew, and Nicholas, and a great grandson Jayden. She was predeceased by a sister Catherine Vining.

Phyllis was born in Worcester, daughter of Charles and Felice (Chirchigno) Donahue and was a graduate of Commerce High School, and lived in Monrovia California for many years before moving to Florida in 1994, and then returned to Spencer several years ago. She worked as a Physical Therapist in Florida for many years. Phyllis is a member of Hadwen Park Congregational Church. She enjoyed being with her family and enjoyed going to Foxwoods. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Calling hours will be held Monday evening from 5PM to 7PM in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. A memorial service and burial in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton will be held at the family's convenience. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hadwen Park Congregational Church, 6 Clover St., Worcester, MA 01603.
