Janet Doucette Obituary

Janet F. (Loiselle) Doucette, 82, of Auburn, died Saturday in UMass Memorial Healthcare, after a brief illness.

She is survived by a son, Stephen, of Shrewsbury; three daughters, Catherine of Southbridge, Debra of Auburn, and Cindy and her husband Brian McNamara, of Worcester. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest, and a sister, Florence Landry.

She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Henry and Margaret Loiselle. She graduated from Forsyth dental school of Boston. She was employed by the City of Worcester, Department of Public Health, as a dental hygienist, she retired in 1989. She was a past secretary of the Holiday Rambler recreational vehicle club, and enjoyed camping and travelling.

She was a member of Saint Joseph's Church in Auburn.

Her funeral will be celebrated Wednesday, Dec. 10 at 10:00 AM in Saint Joseph's Church, 189 Oxford Street North, Auburn. Burial and visiting hours will be private. For Janet's guestbook and online memorial or for directions visit
