Margarita Progri Obituary
Her husband Vasil Progri died in 1986. She is survived by three sons, Nestor and his wife Eriketa Progri of Worcester, Arben Progri in Albania and Tomi and his wife Diana Progri of Rochdale; four grandchildren, Ligoraq, Vaske, Gjergji and Klara Progri; and several nephews and nieces in Albania. Two brothers and a sister predeceased her. She was born in Korce, Albania the daughter of Ligor and Eftiqi (Karameta) Tomco and immigrated to the United States in 1997. Dr. Progri completed her studies in Italy and had been a Gynecologist in Albania.
The funeral is Tuesday, December 9th, from O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a service at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary's Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church, 535 Salisbury Street. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday, December 8th from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. in the funeral home. A Trisagion Service will be conducted at 6:30 P.M. during the calling hours. Contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Eastern Orthodox Nursing Center, 300 Barber Avenue, Worcester, MA 01606.
