Jennie Lianides Obituary

Jennie (Badavas) Lianides, 86, of Worcester, died Saturday, July 11th in UMass Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. Her husband of 60 years, Aristotle "Russ" Lianides died in 2007. She leaves her son, Jordan A. Lianides of Annapolis, MD; two daughters, Cleo Malcolm of Contoocook, NH and Jamie J. Lianides of Worcester; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Mrs. Lianides was born in Marlborough, MA, the daughter of James and Garifalia (Scouras) Badavas. She was employed by Digital for many years, until her retirement in 1985. Mrs. Lianides was a member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 1st at 11:00 AM in Hope Cemetery, 119 Webster Street. O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell Street, Worcester, MA 01609.
