William Freedman Obituary

William Freedman of 798 Pleasant St., died Saturday, August 18, surrounded by his loving family in Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. His wife of 23 years, Dorothy M. (Petkun) Freedman died in 2005.

He leaves two sons, Jonathon and Michael Freedman of Worcester; two sisters, Debra Laub and her husband Milton of Lynn and Elaine Fader and her fiancé Raymond Allain of Framingham; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A sister, Toby Fox died in 1992.

He was born in Worcester, the son of Abraham and Zelda (Grossman) Freedman and graduated Classical High School. William worked for Harrington Richardson for ten years before becoming a computer systems analyst for Rand Whitney Corporation and until recently working for Kessling Transit Authority, transporting the handicapped and disabled. He was a hard worker and was always there to help anyone and was loved by all, especially his two sons who will miss him dearly.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on TUESDAY, AUGUST 21 in Perlman Funeral Home, 1026 Main St., Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester Hebrew Cemetery, Auburn.

Memorial observance will be held through 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the residence of Mrs. Gladys Safer, 800 Pleasant St., Worcester. Additional memorial observance will be announced.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Adam Friedman Memorial Fund, PO Box 1493, Ogunquit, ME. 03907
