I am so terribly sorry for your loss. It was an honor and a privledge to know Statia and her wonderful family. I am glad that I had the times with her to talk with her and listen to her, I always felt that if I talked with Statia I felt better about whatever we were talking about. After my mother passed away she was there to listen and just to give me a simple hug, that meant so much to me. Here is a poem that was sent to me after my mom passed away.
Poem by Mary Elizabeth Frye:

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gently showers of rain,
I am the ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush
Of Beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the starshine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there. I do not die.

Thank You all for letting me get to know you. My thoughts and prayers are with you always,
Dawnmarie
