Margaret Labbe Obituary

Margaret M. (Murphy) Labbe, 72, Formerly of 50 Shrewsbury St., died peacefully Saturday, August 25, 2007 in the Lutheran Home. Her husband Leon J. "Frenchie" Labbe Sr. died in 1998. Margaret is survived by her loving family; two son's Leon J. Labbe Jr. and his wife Patricia of Worcester, Michael Labbe and his wife Lois of Grafton, Cathy Terry and her husband Waren of Denton TX, and Patricia Labbe of Florida; four granddaughters; Jennifer, Mycala, Ashley, and Melissa, and a cousin Alice Beaudry.

Margaret was born in Tewksbury, daughter of Timothy and Ethel (Goodwin) Murphy and lived in Worcester most of her life. She was a graduate of Tewksbury High School and enjoyed being a home maker. Margaret was a member of Our Lady Of Mt. Carmel- St. Ann Church, Golden Years Club, and 50 Shrewsbury St. Association. Margaret loved to go shopping and watch old movies, and loved her feline friends. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Margaret's funeral will be held Wednesday at 11:30 A.M. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Calling hours will be held from 6-8P.M. on Tuesday. (tonight) Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Contributions may be made to the Lutheran Home, 26 Harvard St., Worcester, MA 01609.
