Arthur Fairbanks Obituary
He is survived by his devoted wife of 47 Years, RoseMarie (Benoit) Fairbanks, his two daughters; Brenda Grenon, and her husband Forrest, of Auburn, and Michele Lubin, and her husband Daniel, of Auburn, four stepchildren; Donald Desautels, of PA Judith Pariseau, of Auburn, Cindy Wolanski, of CT, and Russell Desautels, of FL, and two sisters, Catherine and Sandra.
He leaves twelve grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Arthur and Yvonne (Beland) Fairbanks, Sr. He was educated in Auburn schools.
He served his country proudly, as a member of the U.S. Army.
He worked for Day Brothers GMC, in Auburn for many years, and retired from AMI Leasing in Worcester. He also worked at Sears in Auburn part-time for 21 years. He was a member of the Local 170 Teamsters Union.
He was an avid Red-Sox and Patriots fan, but his favorite activity was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
His funeral service will be held Saturday October 6, at 11:00 AM in the Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn.

Michelle...I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your father. I only met him a short time when we hung around together but he was so kind and had a great sense of humor. My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family during this time. Please know your father will always be there with you in your heart and soul no matter where you are.
