Lois Leo Obituary

Lois Rosemary (Prior) Leo, 82, of Worcester, died Friday Oct. 19, in her home, surrounded by her family.

She leaves her children, all of the Worcester area, Kenneth Leo, Annette E. Broberg, Laurie Bullard, Catherine J. Caldwell, Raymond Leo and Jennifer Leo–Bubar; two brothers, Neville Prior and Desmond Prior and a sister, Audrey Drinkall, all of Australia; eight grandchildren, Wendy (Leo) Johnson, Michelle (Leo) DeVerbigier, Tyson Goldstein, Ashley Hoover, Michael Caldwell, Bradley Broberg, Raymond Leo II and Tia Isabella Leo; four great-grandchildren, Kevin Sweeney, Gabrielle DeVerbigier, Sebastien DeVerbigier and Noah Hoover; she also leaves many nephews and nieces in Australia. She was predeceased by a sister, June Hansen. She was born and raised in Chillagoe, Australia, a daughter of Slyvester and Doris Marion (Pashen) Prior and came to Worcester in 1946.

Lois was an activity recreation therapist from 1981 to 1991 at Rutland Heights Hospital. She was a longtime member of All Saints Episcopal Church, the Women of All Saints and the Lay Pastors of All Saints and was also a member of Club 52 at 52 Country Club Blvd. Lois enjoyed traveling and ballroom dancing.

The Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 24 at 11:00 a.m. in All Saints Episcopal Church, 10 Irving St. Following the service Lois' cremated remains will be placed in the Columbarium of All Saints Church. Flowers may be sent or memorial contributions may be made to All Saints Episcopal Church, 10 Irving St., Worcester, Ma 01609. Dirsa-Morin Funeral Home, 298 Grafton St., has care of arrangements.
