Alfred Boucher Obituary

Alfred C. "Al" Boucher, 44, passed away November 19, 2007 in Sharpsburg, GA. He was born in Ware, MA the son of Charles & Carolyn Boucher of Brookfield. He leaves his wife Lisa (Johnson) Boucher of Sharpsburg, GA; a sister Diana Boucher Perron of Brookfield; a brother Robert Boucher of Warren; four nephews Brandon Boucher, Joshua Perron, Joseph & Dominic Dimambro; two nieces Melissa Perron & Angeline Dimambro and a great nephew Blake McPherson. Alfred lived many years here before moving to Georgia 20 years ago. He graduated from Quaboag Regional High School in 1981. Alfred later received his B.S. from Fitchburg State College in 1986, a M.ED from Georgia State University in 1992 and his Ed.S. from West Georgia College in 1997 all in Early Childhood Education. He had worked for 20 years with the Fulton County School System in Georgia where he was a teacher, a curriculum support teacher and a science support specialist.

A memorial service for Mr. Boucher will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 10:00 AM in Pillsbury Funeral Home, Rte 9/Old West Brookfield Rd., Brookfield. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Warren. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5:00-8:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alfred C. Boucher Scholarship Fund, c/o Quaboag Regional School District, PO Box 1538, Warren, MA 01083.

My brother will be missed by so many people. I am a lucky person to have a brother like Freddy. My heart is heavy with sorrow, but I do know that God needed him and took him home, he is in a better place and someday we will be together again. I loved him and will miss him so much
