Jeffrey O'Brien Obituary

Jeffrey J. O'Brien, 17, of Carleton Road in Leicester, passed away Monday, December 3, 2007, in UMass Hospital in Worcester.

He leaves his parents, Karen J. (Caforio) O'Brien and Michael J. O'Brien, Sr.; three brothers, Michael J. O'Brien, Jr. of Plainfield, Vermont, Andrew J. and Cody J. O'Brien both of Rochdale; his maternal grandmother, Joan (Manning) Caforio of Millbury; his paternal grandparents James and Madeline (Pratt) O'Brien of Leicester; great grandmothers, Edna Rutherford and Adeline Pratt; his best friend, David Sherman of Spencer; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Jeffrey was the most amazing person and we feel blessed to have known him. He made everyone laugh and always put others in front of himself. We never once saw him mad or upset he always had a smile from ear to ear. Karen and Mike Sr. you have raised four wonderful boys. Mike, Andrew, and Cody you were the best brothers he could have asked for and just by talking to him you could tell he knew it. The love and caring you all have for each other will give you the strength to pull together and celebrate the life you shared with him. We love you all and hope to help in any way possible.

Karen, Mike and Family

Nothing in this lifetime ever prepares us for the tragic loss of our children.

So I prayed with every bit of heartache, sorrow and tears today, that God send his comfort to you... for all the days to come.

Please know that Jeffrey has touched so many lives, as have his parents and his brothers and he will be remembered with a smile in everyone's heart.

All I can hope for now is for you to never give in to despair and to
be comforted in knowing that in every memory of him he is still alive in our hearts forever and always.

God Bless
