Sylvia Guedry Obituary

GUEDRY, SYLVIA M. HEBERT A resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Jeanerette, she died Sun¬day, Oct. 10, 2004. She was 79. She is survived by four daughters, Di¬ana Grissom and husband Robert G., Pam Guedry Stanford and hus¬band Randy, Karen Ann Long and husband David and Debbie Belanger and husband Danny; three sons, Gary Guedry and wife Susan, Brian Guedry and wife Kathleen and Dale Guedry; a brother, Ray Hebert and wife Jenny of Donaldsonville; two sis¬ters, Delmae Tucker and husband Billy and Marie Poole; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Grissom Terry, Jill Johnston, Autumn Long Crochet, Eleanor Long, Erin Gue¬dry, Stephen Guedry and Jacob Guedry; and four great-grandchil¬dren, Railee Terry, Eva Crochet, Maria Crochet and Lauren Cro¬chet. Preceded in death by her husband, Bertrand Guedry; brother, Cleo "Booster" Hebert; and sister, Winnie Hebert Savoie. Visitation was at Welsh Funeral Home, 6700 Florida Blvd., from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 11. Visitation at Immaculate Concep¬tion Catholic Church, Denham Springs, from noon until religious service at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Inter¬ment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
