OH Gramma Pashley! I am going to miss you so much! I cant imagine visits without you being here! Who will tell the stories about Grandpa? And who will make the sharp comebacks you so quickly came up with up until the very end? I wish I could have been there with you at the end but things at work prevented it. You know how much I loved you though. Mom said you were ready to go, she said you were so peaceful and your face had lost all of the wrinkles and you looked like a little girl again! I bet you were planning to go to chase Grandpa Jack through the clouds, werent you? Or did you have your own boat to try to catch him on? Remember when I stayed the summer with you for a while when I was little and Grandpa Jack was hauling those 100ft pilings/beams they were driving into the ground and we rode with him and you flagged him? You taught me to PEE in a coffey can in a tractor trailer! Funny now I married a truck driver! He loved you so much too, sitting on the porch and doing "you know what" (wink) and talking about big trucks! Hes going to miss you too! I miss you so bad everytime I think about you. I remember Grandma Hovey and her cinnamon rolls and the see through bridge over the water and I was upset when she died but I was just a kid. Now I am 39...and there hasnt been any blood relative (except for Grandpa Jack) die! He wasnt my real blood but he was all I had, hes the only family death I've had to deal with in all these years! Lucky? Maybe, but I still feel so selfish because I wasnt READY for you to die! I knew last month when I saw you it would be the last time but I didnt want to believe it, does that make sense? I guess it is selfish because even you knew it and wanted to be with Grandpa! I just love you and miss you SOOOO much!!! I better go now, I am sure there are others who need to write to you too! I love you and will always remember the fun I had with you! Love you Gramma Pashley!

Dear Kathy, Karel, Karen, Doug, Jean, and JoAnne,
I didn't see the obituary until tonight, but please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Your Mother was a wonderful person, and I'm glad to have known her. I have fond memories of all of us playing together when we were youngsters, and spending time at Grandma Hovey's house.
My parents are gone now, too, and although your Mother is no longer with you in the physical sense, she lives on in each of your hearts and your memories of her will keep her close.

Doug & Donnita, Karel & Tom, Jean and all the rest of the the kids - I'm so sorry to read that Tenille has joined her Captain on the greatest voyage ever. There are so many great memories of all of us on Cayuga Lake - never to be forgotten.
Although I will be unable to attend this evening's services, I will be there in spirit.
Love to all of you
