Patricia Shettel Obituary
ITHACA - Patricia Shettel, 70, of Old 476 Road and Seminole, Florida, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2008, at the Cayuga Medical Center. Daughter of the late James and Cora Smith Reagin.
Pat was a past president of the V.F.W. Post 9272 Auxiliary in Seminole, Florida. She had worked for the Dryden Central School, Smith Corona and Alexander, Mitchell and Sons of Syracuse, New York.
Survivors include her husband, Edward Shettel; a son, Douglas Romeo of Dryden; grandsons, Mathew Caughey, Anthony Romeo, Ian Dassance and Adam Emmans; also sisters, Denise Walker of Dryden, Florence McComb of Ovid Center; brothers, Stephen Reagin of Locke, NY, and James Reagin of Ovid, NY; brother-in-law, Dick Hildreth; and sisters-in-law, Sharon and Connie Reagin; and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Besides her parents; Pat was predeceased by sons, Terry Reagin and Michael Dassance; and a daughter, Dawn Marie Caughey.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the Slaterville Ambulance Service for all their kind support.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, June 26, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at Bangs Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Andrews officiating. There are no calling hours, graveside services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Slaterville Ambulance Squad.

Pat Shettel was a dear friend and neighbor for many years. She was there when my Dave died and both her and Bill were very helpful to me. I will miss her.
