Jean Robinson Obituary

JEAN E. ROBINSON
FORMERLY OF LANSING - Jean E. Robinson, 69, passed away on July 3, 2008 in Brooksville, Florida, where she had resided for the past ten years. She was a native of Lansing, NY, where she raised her family with her husband of 50 years, Herbert Robinson, who survives her. She was a homemaker, enjoyed baking and cooking, and tending her flower gardens. She also enjoyed traveling, especially to St. Martin in the Caribbean. Also surviving are a daughter, Robin (Thomas) Burke of Lansing; sons, Rick Robinson of Ithaca, and Raymond Robinson of Hillsboro, OR; two grandchildren, Jesse Burke of Lincoln, NE and Adam Burke of Groton, CT; three brothers, James (Rebecca) Parker of Manville, TX, William (Sigrid) Parker of Locke, and Robert (Diane) Parker of Lansing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Mae Parker. A Memorial Service will be held at the Lansing United Methodist Church, 32 Brickyard Rd., Lansing, NY, on Friday, August 1, 2008, at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Jim Geuder officiating. Jean was interned at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell on July 15, 2008. Memorials may be made to the Hernando Hospice Care Center, 1114 Chatman Blvd., Brooksville, FL, 34601.
