Dear Claudia, Austin, Jesse, Gary, Stacey,
I was sorry to hear of Jeremy's passing. I very much appreciated his sense of dignity, the respect he had and showed to all, the way he made a positive thing of the unpleasantries in his life and that were my 'job' - a little of it - to work with. The short time I spent with Jeremy (and you, his family) I look upon in a most positive way; it inspires me, and gives me warm feelings as well, each occasion ending in a start of a new day.
I am not surprised to the many Rest assured that there are others who were similarly touched.

I often think about all of you still in the "homeland". I have been keeping tabs on you all though mother. J.J., as he will always be known to me, is the classic tale of the good leaving us way too young. I hope we can all learn from his bravery. I hurt for all of you. I can only offer you the same hope I have for all our lost loved ones, and that is, our separation is only temporary. Be strong, for this pain too, shall pass. At least enough to carry on.
