ITHACA - Dr. George F. Brampton Jr., 83, of McGraw House, Ithaca, passed away Monday, September 8, 2008, at the Cayuga Medical Center.
Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced in a complete obituary. Bangs Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.

George was a great friend, and amazing doctor and just a wonderful human being. His sense of humor was always appreciated and his liberal politics made him a man for the ages. We love you George.

I was sorry to hear of his death. Back in the day when doctors made house calls, he was a hero to my family, showing up for pneumonias, falls from swingsets, and other hazards of childhood. We missed him terribly when he moved away. He was a kind and gentle man.

my deepest sympathy and prayers to Dr Brampton's family. He delivered me and my siblings and remained our doctor and family friend for years. I have very fond memories of him as a child. A very kind man. The June family
