Clifford Jesmer Obituary
PITCHER, NY - Clifford Grant Jesmer, age 61, of 435 Cook Road, Pitcher, NY, and formerly of Dryden and Norwood, NY, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2008, at the Syracuse V.A. Medical Center, Syracuse, NY. Clifford was born October 2, 1946 in Potsdam, NY, a son of the late Clifford and Katherine Weaver Jesmer. He was graduated from Norwood-Norfolk Central School and served in the Air Force being honorably discharged as a Sergeant in 1969. He was employed at the North Country Saving Bank in Potsdam as the Assistant Vice President. Later he relocated to Dryden and worked as a Loan Officer at The First National Bank of Dryden. He was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed being a youth baseball and youth hockey coach. He was a past member of the Dryden Kiwanis Club and the Weller Mountain Fish and Game Club. Cliff was a loving father and will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
Survivors include his children, Lori Jesmer of Lake Wylie, SC, Lisa Jesmer of Miami, FL, and Brett Jesmer of Davis, CA; his brothers, Richard W. (Jan) Jesmer of Dryden, Jeffrey D. (Cathy Northrop) Jesmer of Groton, Gregory J. Jesmer of Dryden; his companion, Marie Kievit of Pitcher; two grandsons, Brandon and Logan Bombard of Lake Wylie, SC; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial services will be held at 8 p.m., Tuesday, Septemper 30, 2008, at the Perkins Funeral Home with Rev. Alan Kinney officiating. Burial, with Military Honors, will be in Riverside Cemetery, Norwood, NY. Friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home, 55 West Main Street, Dryden.
