Brian Williams Obituary

BRIAN D. WILLIAMS
SYRACUSE - Brian D. Williams, age 59, of Willseyville, died Thursday afternoon, October 2nd, 2008, at SUNY Upstate. Brian was born in Cardiff, Wales, the son of Betty Williams and the late Clifford Williams.
Brian was employed by H&R Block in Ithaca, where he was a tax preparer. He enjoyed spending his free time with his family, sitting by campfires, and cooking. He also was an avid horse racing fan.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Williams; two stepsons, Adam Tierney and Brian (Satticia Allen) Tierney; two grandchildren; a brother, Les (Ramona) Williams; mother-in-law, Lily Newton; a brother-in-law, Kenneth E. Newton; a sister-in-law, Debbie Hartman; three aunts, Babs, Ivy, and Joyce; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at Lily Newton's home on Saturday, October 11th from 6 to 8 p.m. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Herson Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the SUNY Upstate Medical University, Neurosurgery Unit.
