Clyde Lisk Obituary
FORMERLY OF LOCKE - Clyde R. Lisk, 70, of Stockton, CA, formerly of Locke, NY, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2008, in a local hospital. Born on July 20, 1938 in Candor, NY, he was an installer with Ad Art and Mini Tree Signs for 40 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Clara Smith; father, William Lisk; stepfather, Earl Smith; and brother, Robert Lisk. Clyde is survived by his wife of 18 years, Joan K. Lisk of Stockton. Loving father of Michelle Lisk, Bernie Lisk, both of NY, and Julie Gonzalez of MA; stepfather of David Wright, Sarah Wright, both of Stockton, Tom Ellis, Greg Ellis, both of MD, Bill Ellis of VT and Kelly Jones of NY; brother of Bill Lisk of MS, Jim Smith and Jr. Smith, both of NY; grandfather of Tim, Tiffany, Charissa, William, Bernice, Michael and Emily; uncle of Steven M. Hovland for being his companion and caregiver. Also survived by other nephews, nieces and cousins. Clyde was also a volunteer firefighter for the Locke Fire Department.
Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life service on Monday, October 27, 2008, at 10 a.m. in the Evergreen Chapel at Cherokee Memorial Park. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Aid Society, 105 S. Washington St., Lodi, CA 95240 are preferred.

We were all so sorry to hear about Clyde's passing. He was such a nice neighbor. We so enjoyed watching him work so hard in his garage.
He was so helpful to us when we needed help. May his kind ways give you memories that will comfort you.

Joan;
Those we hold most dear never truly leave us. They live on in the kindnesses they showed, the comfort they shared and the love they brought into our lives. May the memories of all the joyful times help comfort you in this time of sorrow.
I will always hold dear those many conversations that Clyde and I had when I was working in the Mina-Tree Signs, Inc. southern California office. Clyde would come buy the office when in the area doing installations.
Clyde was a kind and gentle man who was always helpful and could always make me laugh. Like having a member of my family come by for a visit when I was so far away from everyone.
