Janet Hanna Obituary

JANET L. HANNA
TRUMANSBURG - Janet L. Hanna, 82, of 4240 South Street Ext., Trumansburg, and formerly of Chenango Bridge and North Carolina, died Tuesday, November 6, 2007, at her home. She was born in Hillside, NJ, daughter of the late Marian and Helen Baran Lytwyn, and was the widow of William E. Hanna, Jr., who died in 1993.
Janet was a stay-at-home mom while her children were young and then worked as a typist and secretary to help put her children through college.
Janet is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dale and Peter Meskill of Trumansburg; son and daughter-in-law, Wayne W. and Lou Anne Hanna of Williamsville, NY; and her grandchildren, Diana, Mike and Kelly Meskill of Trumansburg, and Drew and Alec Hanna of Williamsville. She is also survived by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bob and Thelma Hanna; nieces and nephews; and many dear friends, including Jean Gunn of Trumansburg.
A celebration of Janet's life will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2007, at 11 a.m. at the Bangs Funeral Home. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in Janet's memory may be made to the Trumansburg Ambulance Fund or to the charity of one's choice.
