To Mr Simkin's Family:

I am sorry to hear of your loss. I knew him as a wonderful teacher at ACC when I took my first geology course from him. Because of him I majored in the subject when I went on to a 4 year college and graduate school. Later, I became a science teacher myself. Over the years he has come to mind countless times as a model of kindness and helping to others. He will indeed continue to influence me. I can still hear his patient voice and see his kind smile whenever he helped me. In that sense he is still teaching in my classes. It is amazing what an influence one man can have on so many others. He was a wonderful man who enjoyed giving his time to help others.

Most sincerely,

Bob Lepak

I had Bob Simpkin for a Biology teacher and he was great! He was a great teacher as well as a person. I saw him one time at a chicken and bisquit dinner at the Ledyard Church, also he came to the multi-class reunion for Genoa Central School. It was wonderful to see him there. He will be missed by many. God Rest His Soul!
