SHANE ODELL BURRUS, 36 Florida's Natural LAKE WALES - Shane Odell Burrus, 36, of Lake Wales died Monday, February 12, 2007 at his residence. Cause is pending. He was 36. Born July 31, 1970 in West Palm Beach; he came here from Ft. Pierce in 1996. He was a QA Tech for Florida's Natural. He attended the Burns Avenue Church of God and was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Marines. He played competitive paintball and loved to play poker. Mr. Burrus was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Treven Burrus Jr. Survivors include his wife, Tina Burrus of Lake Wales, sons, Evan Burrus, Chace Burrus, Sage Burrus and Kaden Burrus, all of Lake Wales; mother, Connie Hannon of Lake Wales; grandfather, Gene Noegel of Stark; brother, Bruce Treven Burrus III of Lake Wales; sisters, Lisa Michelle Kavelak of Winter Haven; Christie Burrus of Texas; Gina Hannon and Cara Hannon both of Stark. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Thursday, February 15, 2007 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, February 16, 2007 at the funeral home with Rev. Johnie Stoudemire officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
