Helen Crock, 90, formerly of Starkville, died Friday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot. Her husband, Fred, died in 1992.
Born in Gibson, she was the daughter of the late Grant and Arline Thomas Tompkins. She was a member of Nicholson United Methodist Church and the Nicholson Women's Club.
Helen is survived by one son, Douglas Crock, Saxonburg; a brother, Edgar Tompkins, Waldwick, N.J.; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews.
Helen was also predeceased by a daughter, Marilyn Prendergast; a son, James; and a sister, Lida Tiffany.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Nicholson United Methodist Church by the Rev. John Shaffer.
A viewing will be Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Charles H. Litwin Funeral Home, 91 State St., Nicholson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Nicholson United Methodist Church, 64 State St., Nicholson, PA 18446.

My sincere condolences to Helen's family and friends. I have many fond memories of Helen from our years at NUMC. I always enjoyed our visits.
