Joe, I just found out you loss your beautiful Joy! I met Joy when you guys moved to West Orange, NJ, and she was looking for a church home. She became a regular at West Orange United Presbyterian Church. Our church family welcomed her with opened arms and it didn’t take long before we quickly became friends. My daughter Kaela became one of your cat sitters. I shared in her expectations of starting a family with you and the delight when she told me she was expecting Josie, I could not have been more excited for you both. I was sad when I learned you had taken the job in PA and you were moving. In hindsight, God, was working it all out. I was blessed to have had a few days with her and Josie on a visit to the area. They stayed with me 2 days longer than she had anticipated. I will treasure the memories. I will miss her. She was easygoing, kind, gentle, smart and genuine human being. She’s at peace now and that makes her passing tolerable. Sweet sleep Joy. I’m so glad to have known you.
Joe & Family, I am so sorry for you loss.

Joe we were so saddened to hear about Joy. Her name was perfect for her because she was always joyous, caring & loving. I loved her from the first time I met her. She had such a positive attitude & real zest for life and we are privileged to have known her! I am so happy you two found each other & shared the love & memories you made together & especially for precious Josie. You have our deepest sympathies & if you need anything, please let us know. You & Josie can visit if you need a weekend to talk, cry or smile reminicing about your precious Joy. I loved her like a sister. Our sympathies to Joy's family too. She is an Angel in Heaven now helping tend to the animals she helped take care of here too. We lost a precious soul today but God in Heaven welcomed Joy with open arms.

More than a friend, Joy was part of our family. Her name was a perfect choice, as she spread joy to everyone, her smile was contagious, her sincere love for others so very beautiful. Joy lifted you up with her positive attitude and beautiful sparkly spirit. Our world lost a beautiful soul and Heaven gained a precious angel. We are all so saddened by her passing, and we will miss her very much. May she rest peacefully in the arms of our Holy Mother until we all meet again. Our deepest sympathy to her mom Brenda, her siblings and other family members. Joy lives in our hearts, and always will. Joy is loved and missed by us all: Carla (Saporito) Scarantino and Peter, Dana (Caboot) Rivera & children, Adrian (Caboot) Vilardo & Vicky, Sonny & Nancy Saporito & Danielle & Sarah, Tina & Don Booth and Chelsea & Donnie.

This is very hard for me to write but I had to say something. Joy & I were inseparable for so many years, we did nothing without each other. We even dressed alike lol. We used to sing & dance at all our family parties for everyone. We got in trouble together, got jobs together, laid in the sun for hours together, went on walks, to every festival, there was nothing we kept from one another. She was like my sister, like another part of me in so many ways. After she moved away & our lives became so busy & chaotic, we didn't stay in contact as much, only seeing each other every few years. I wish I was there to hold your hand, sing to you (because you loved that), crack jokes & laugh over so many memories we shared. You will NEVER be forgotten Joy you brought happiness to so many people's lives & I will hold you in my heart for life & longer Soar in Peace my dear friend . I Love you!
