Gary Doan
November 17, 2008
My name is Gary Doan. I served with Dan in Danang, Vietnam back in 1968-69. We spent some time together on R&R to Hong Kong in May of 69. I made the Naby a career and he went back home to his family. I have always kept him in my mind over these years, remembering him as a humorous, quiet, gentle guy with a facinating little sparkle in his eye. I regret that I was never able to reunite with him again. A few years ago I looked him up on line. I figured I would get out there one of these days and would give him a call. I was checking back on line to see what was new and I was shocked and saddened to learn he had passed. He made a very positive lasting impression on me frome the time I met him and I can imagine that he will be greatly missed by the others who have known him over the past 40 years since I last saw him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you adapt to life without him. May God grant him eternal rest in his perpetual light and may he rest in peace.

I used to clean the chalk board before his class. He was always so appreciative. Was sad to hear of his illness, and may he rest in peace and God Bless his family.

My deepest sympathy to Daniel Tedone's family. I had the pleasure of working with Dan for a short time, however, during that time I learned so much from him. He was so willing to share all he knew that I'm sure made each of us a better person. God Bless You Dan.

I know from my time living with Emily that Dan was a loyal, supportive father and husband. I am sorry for your family's loss and I hope you can each find peace during this unsettling time.
