Stasha Barszcz Obituary

Stasha D. Barszcz, 87, of Arcadia Road, Hope Valley, died peacefully on Monday, Sept. 9, 2008, at Shady Acres in Exeter.
Born in Providence on Oct. 20, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Marianna (Zukowski) Barszcz.
Stasha had been employed at the Ashaway Line and Twine for over 40 years before her retirement.
Stasha enjoyed spending time with her family and working on the family farm on Dutch Island in Hope Valley.
She will be sadly missed by her brother, Stanley Barszcz of Hope Valley; and her two nephews, Thomas E. Koczkodan and Vincent Koczkodan, both of Hope Valley.
She was predeceased by her brother, Alexander Barszcz; and her two sisters, Helen A. Koczkodan and Irene McBride.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10 a.m., in St. Joseph Church, 1105 Main St., Hope Valley. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the S.R. Avery Funeral Home, Main Street, Hope Valley. Burial will be in Wood River Cemetery.
